Digital Banking Updates

We’re excited to announce a more connected digital banking experience. Members can now view Aviso Wealth and QTrade accounts directly in ACU online and mobile banking.

Digital Banking (online and mobile) will be unavailable from 11:00 pm on December 2 to 6:30 am on December 3 as we install this exciting new upgrade.

Aviso Wealth Integration

ACU’s latest digital banking enhancement makes it simpler than ever to manage your investments. With the Aviso Wealth Integration, members can now:

View all your banking and investment accounts in one secure location

Save time with simplified access to view your Aviso and Qtrade accounts

Stay informed with up-to-date account balances and investment details

 

Linking your accounts is quick and secure, and once connected, your investment accounts appear directly in your ACU digital banking platform — no need to log in to multiple sites.

Available Account Types to Link

Members can link up to three investment products:

  1. Aviso Wealth (product type: CSI)

  2. Qtrade Investor (product type: CD)

  3. Qtrade Guided Portfolios (product type: VRW)

When linking an Aviso account, a one-time password (OTP) will be generated for verification.

 

How to Link Aviso and Qtrade Accounts

To link your Aviso or Qtrade accounts, you must already be registered for online access with Aviso or Qtrade.

Linking accounts through online banking

  1. Log in to ACU Online Banking.
  2. Under the Accounts menu, select Wealth Management Accounts.
  3. Select Link Account.
  4. Choose the applicable wealth product:
    • Aviso Wealth
    • Qtrade Investor
    • Qtrade Guided Portfolios
  5. Enter the following required information:
    • Client ID# (found on your investment statement)
    • Last name
    • Postal code (must match your wealth management file information)
    • Date of birth (automatically populated from ACU records)
  6. Review your details and select Confirm.
  7. Enter the one-time password (OTP) when prompted.
  8. Select Confirm to complete the link.

Once linked, your Wealth Management Account will appear in your account list.

Linking Accounts Through the Mobile App

  1. Log in to the ACU Mobile App.
  2. Select Accounts.
  3. Under Wealth Management Accounts, select Link Account.
  4. Choose the applicable wealth product:
    • Aviso Wealth
    • Qtrade Investor
    • Qtrade Guided Portfolios
  5. Enter the following required information:
    • Client ID# (found on your investment statement)
    • Last name
    • Postal code (must match your wealth management file information)
    • Date of birth (automatically populated from ACU records)
  6. Review your details and select Confirm.
  7. Enter the one-time password (OTP) when prompted.
  8. Select Confirm to complete the link.

Once linked, your Wealth Management Account will appear in your account list.

Viewing Wealth Accounts

  1. Log in to ACU’s digital banking.
  2. Under the Accounts menu, select Wealth Management Accounts.
  3. Select the arrow beside the account you want to view.

Account and Security Details

When viewing your linked wealth management account, the following details are displayed:

Account Details
  • Account number
  • Account type
  • As of (date)
  • Current balance
  • Security value – total market for all equities
  • Total market value – the sum of current and security values
    (Definitions for these terms are available via tooltip in the platform.)
Security Details
  • Security name
  • Symbol
  • Quantity
  • Price
  • Market value
  • % holding

Aviso Wealth Integration FAQs

Where can I find my Client ID number?

Your Client ID number can be found on your investment statements provided by Aviso.

Can I make transactions on my wealth management accounts from digital banking?

No. Linked wealth accounts are read-only and cannot be used to complete transactions.

Can I access Aviso Wealth directly from digital banking?

Yes. A button is available to securely redirect you from ACU’s digital banking to the Aviso Wealth website.

How do I unlink my wealth accounts?

  1. Log in to ACU Online Banking.
  2. Under the Accounts menu, select Wealth Management Accounts.
  3. Select the trash can icon beside the account you want to unlink.
  4. Click Yes, disconnect.

Who should I contact about my wealth management accounts?

Your wealth management accounts remain with Aviso Wealth. For any questions or concerns, please contact Aviso directly.
